Understanding Your Organizer Dashboard Blocks

Understanding Your Organizer Dashboard Blocks

As an event organizer on Ayatickets, your dashboard is the command center for your events. It provides a quick snapshot of key metrics to help you monitor your event's performance. Let's break down what each block represents:

Orders Placed

This block shows the total number of all orders placed for your events, inclusive of both paid and unpaid orders. This is a gross measure of interest and potential revenue for your events.  This includes stats from past and current events

Paid Orders

In this block, you’ll see the total number of all paid orders. If a single order includes multiple tickets, it still counts as one paid order. This metric is crucial for tracking actual revenue as opposed to potential revenue indicated by all orders placed. Again, this metric covers all your events, past and present events

Awaiting Payment

This section indicates the total number of orders that have been placed but not yet paid for. These are your pending transactions that have not yet converted into revenue but show pending interest in your events. An order is marked as 'Awaiting Payment' when a customer has initiated the checkout process but has not yet completed payment through any of our available gateways. It's important to note that if the customer initiates a new order within the same browser session, our system generates a new order reference. Consequently, the original order will retain its 'Awaiting Payment' status until the transaction is either completed or cancelled. This ensures that each customer's intent to purchase is accurately recorded and can be followed up appropriately.

Tickets Sold

Here, you'll find the total number of individual tickets sold across all your events. Unlike the 'Paid Orders' block, this counts each ticket individually, providing insight into how many actual entries to your events you've sold.

FAQs

Q: What is the difference between 'Paid Orders' and 'Tickets Sold'?
A: 'Paid Orders' refers to the number of completed transactions, where each transaction may include multiple tickets. 'Tickets Sold', on the other hand, counts each ticket individually, regardless of whether they were part of a single transaction or multiple transactions.

Q: Why is the number of 'Tickets Sold' higher than 'Paid Orders'?
A: This is because one 'Paid Order' can contain multiple tickets. The 'Tickets Sold' count reflects the total number of tickets within all orders.

Q: What happens if an order includes both paid and unpaid tickets?
A: Orders are classified based on their payment status. If an order has been partially paid for, it should still be considered under 'Paid Orders', and all tickets within that order will be counted in 'Tickets Sold'.

Q: How can I convert 'Awaiting Payment' orders into 'Paid Orders'?
A: To help convert awaiting payments into completed sales, consider sending reminders to attendees or offering limited-time discounts to encourage prompt payment. Ensure your payment process is as seamless as possible to reduce drop-off.

By understanding and monitoring these metrics, you can better strategize and make informed decisions to increase your sales and the success of your events.
