Event advanced settings on Ayatickets (organizer guide)

Advanced settings let you control when tickets go on sale, collect a waitlist before launch, protect your event with a password, and choose whether your event appears on Ayatickets discovery (website, app, and USSD).

This guide is for organizers in Cameroon who already have—or are about to create—an event on Ayatickets.

Before you start

• An organizer account (sign up as an organizer).


• At least one event created in your dashboard (draft or published).

How to open Advanced settings

1. Sign in to your organizer dashboard.


2. Go to My events.


3. Find your event and click Manage if you still need to add dates and tickets.


4. Open the ⋯ menu on the same row.


5. Choose Advanced settings in the menu.

On the Advanced settings page, use Public page to copy your link, check With these settings on the right, then click Save.

What you can configure

• When tickets go on sale — Available now or Schedule for later (see schedule your ticket launch or sell tickets immediately).


• Enable ticket alerts (wishlist) while coming soon — event waitlist.


• Listing visibility — Listed on Ayatickets or Hidden from listings (link only) (hide your event from listings).


• Password protection — No password or Password required (password-protected event).

These rules apply to the website, the attendee app, and USSD (*365*88#). Hidden and password-protected events are also kept out of Google search and the public events sitemap.
