Event waitlist
A waitlist (ticket alerts) lets fans leave their email or phone while your event is in coming soon mode. When you open sales, Ayatickets can notify them automatically.
When to use a waitlist
- You announced a concert, conference, or party but tickets are not on sale yet.
- You schedule your ticket launch for a future date and time.
- You want to build demand on WhatsApp, Facebook, or radio before launch day.
Before you start
- Your event is published.
- Ticket sales are scheduled (not “available now”) — see schedule your ticket launch.
Steps
- Open My events → ⋯ → Advanced settings for your event.
- Under When tickets go on sale, choose Schedule for later and set your sales start date and time (see the platform timezone note on the page).
- Turn on Enable ticket alerts (wishlist) while coming soon.
- Optional: add a heading and message attendees will see on the event page.
- Click Save.
- Copy the public page link and share it on social media and with your community.
- When you are ready to sell, either wait for the scheduled time or open sales manually from Advanced settings / your organizer tools.

When people join the waitlist, the count appears on Advanced settings. You can Download CSV from that screen to export emails and phone numbers.
Tips
- Turn off the waitlist once tickets are on sale — it is only for the coming-soon period.
- Pair with Advanced settings overview if you also need a private link or password.
